The Atlanta Caribbean Carnival is an annual event that takes place during Memorial Day Weekend. Thousands of people are drawn to the Caribbean festival with fantastic music, dancing, costumes, food, and children's activities. The carnival starts with Jouvert, taking place the night before near Village Skate Park, 1060 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. Attendees are encouraged to bring paint or powder and have fun!

The major highlight of the celebration is the colorful Atlanta Carnival Parade of Bands that occurs from 11 am to 4 pm. Enjoy bright costumes and great music while the parade passes through the city. It finishes at Central Park, where the festival continues with reggae, soca, and other music, performances, food vendors, and arts and crafts fair with goods from all over the world. Children's Carnival takes place on a different weekend at Historic Fourth Ward Park.
